Crayola Dream Makers

This program focuses on imagination and the visual arts as a core element of learning, creative development and critical thinking skills.

This program is connected to integrated learning in the classroom in the arts, humanities, sciences and literacy. Students create art based on the annual theme and each student creates a “Dream Statement” expressing the story of their art. Each school selects “honorees” to participate in the citywide Dream-Makers exhibition and awards ceremony. A special reception and exhibition of student work is held in the spring of each year at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden.

This program is open to all students from Kindergarten through 8th grade. The FWISD art department will send detailed information to each school’s art teachers.
